Wheat, corn and oat futures fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices mostly lower

  • CHICAGO (AP) - Grains futures traded mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

    Wheat for May delivery shed 5 cents to $8.12 a bushel; May corn fell 0.50 cent to $7.3050 a bushel; May oats were down 2 cents to $3.79 a bushel; while soybeans for May delivery added 2.75 cents to $13.6750 a bushel.

    Beef and pork traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

    April live cattle edged down 0.25 cent to $1.1265 a pound; March feeder cattle fell 0.37 cent to $1.2970 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.70 cent to 88.10 cents a pound; while March pork bellies were unchanged at $1.1650 a pound.
