India May Increase Wheat Production, Exports in 2011, USDA Says
India may increase wheat production to 84.2 million metric tons in the year that began April 1, up from an estimated 80.8 million tons a year earlier, a unit of the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a report posted today on its website.
Wheat exports may rise to 2 million tons from zero a year earlier, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said.
