South African Wheat Prices Increase by the Daily Limit on Futures Exchange

  • South African wheat prices rose by the daily limit of 100 rand in opening trading in Johannesburg.

    Wheat for delivery in July, the most-active contract on the South African futures exchange, rose by as much as 3.2 percent to 3,274 rand a metric ton, and was trading 2.2 percent higher at 3,245 rand as of 9:11 a.m. local time.
