South African Wheat Prices Increase by the Daily Limit on Futures Exchange
South African wheat prices rose by the daily limit of 100 rand in opening trading in Johannesburg.
Wheat for delivery in July, the most-active contract on the South African futures exchange, rose by as much as 3.2 percent to 3,274 rand a metric ton, and was trading 2.2 percent higher at 3,245 rand as of 9:11 a.m. local time.
