Tunisia May Cut Wheat Imports, Boost Output, USDA Unit Says
Tunisia may import 1.5 million metric tons of wheat in the year beginning July 1, down from an estimated 1.7 million in the current marketing year, according to a unit of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Production may rise to 1.2 million tons next year, from 821,000 this year, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said in a report posted today on its website.
