Tunisia May Cut Wheat Imports, Boost Output, USDA Unit Says

  • Tunisia may import 1.5 million metric tons of wheat in the year beginning July 1, down from an estimated 1.7 million in the current marketing year, according to a unit of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

    Production may rise to 1.2 million tons next year, from 821,000 this year, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said in a report posted today on its website.
